Founder & Lead Instructor
Theresa holds a Bachelor of Music and Master of Music in Piano Performance from the University of Toronto, where she studied under Patricia Par. She earned her ARCT Performance Diploma from the Royal Conservatory at sixteen, and brings that standard of rigorous, whole-musician training directly into her teaching.
With thirty years of teaching experience across studios in Toronto, Waterloo, and Woodinville, Theresa teaches two parallel tracks: comprehensive RCM examination preparation through every level including the ARCT, and a structured Contemporary & Chord Studies curriculum.
Her approach is warm and encouraging, with genuinely high standards. She believes every student is capable of more than they think — and her job is to help them discover that, joyfully.

RCM Examination Preparation
Structured progression from foundational through ARCT-level study, following the Royal Conservatory of Music framework.
Contemporary & Chord Studies
A structured curriculum for students who want to play the music they love — worship songs, popular repertoire, etc. Students develop the ability to sit down at the piano, hear a chord progression, and play using lead sheets and chord charts. Chord theory, voicing, lead sheet reading, and ear-based musicianship.
Music Theory
A strong foundation in reading, harmony, and musicianship — the language behind everything a student plays.
